In the Meantime and In between time

If you are a creative, or artistic person, then more than likely you have things in your home that were attempts at something creative, something awesome, and possibly something profitable.   Something that you started and never finished, but kept it anyway.  The fact that you kept the object could very well mean that you are an aficionado, and have the potential to complete the project, no matter how long you have procrastinated.  The fact is; it was wasted time, but only because you never completed it. Please leave me a message in the comment section letting me know if there is anything that I can assist you with, to complete an old project.  “Let’s make the wasted time count”

This post is a follow up to “Resourceful or Last Resort”.  It is yet one more example of being resourceful that I would like to share with you, as well as allow you the time to read, and consider the previous post regarding Protecting yourself and your business because we are going to explore starting a business a lot further in the upcoming post, but until then, I hope that the projects below will continue encouraging and inspiring you to be resourceful.  Here are a few more of my projects from the past.

One day I was driving along a road where a yard sale was taking place when I saw a box.  A raw-wood, round box.  I love that box from the moment I saw it.  My granddaughter had a birthday coming up and I wanted to make something that I felt she would be able to keep forever.  I call it “The Green Box”.  That box was for Brittany who is grown up and have a daughter of her own now.  Her name is Kimora, and when Kimora was six years old she ask me to make her a dress.  I am very meticulous about each project and my expectations for the results, and I had no idea how to use patterns, and I didn’t have a sewing machine at the time.  Do you think that stopped me?  Of course not.  I made her that dress anyway;  Every stitch, every flower, and every button was strategically placed onto that dress “by hand”.  The dress is displayed below.

All of this was simply to say “never give up” because that unfinished project is just waiting for you to get your yourselves together, and come from that rut you’ve gotten yourself into.  “I will take your hand and help pull you up, and you can take a hold of mine, and together we will rise to the top”.  I hope you will continue to visit me here at Memanera’s as my post will continue to be filled with ideas, suggestion, as well as instruction on how to be resourceful so that together we can be successful.  You can look forward to continuous post containing new suggestions and ideas to starting a business. Please leave any comments, concerns, or critiques in the comment section located at the end of each post.
