It’s time to look at how far we’ve come. I’ve given you encouragement, and instructions, and I have even given away a couple of great ideas that you can use for yourself. During my “Meantime, and In Between Time” post, I have been manufacturing-if you will, or creating products to sell on my up-coming ecommerce site. So far I have bookmarks, children’s books, clocks, calendars, greeting cards, a children’s coloring book, a poetry book, and post cards, etc.. I will of course have to include purchased items as well to fill the void. All of the products that I have created are simple to make, and would be easy to mass produce given the right environment, and with the capital needed to produce them.
I am not sure if you have found your niche yet, but there is still time. Remember! There is no last resort, and time is of the essence. Snatch those pillow cases off your bed; stare at them for about 10-15 minutes while in you creative mindset. Put a design on them, paint them, or simply stuff them if you’d like, but you must do something! Keep going! Since I may be a lot further along, I will continue, by talking about starting the business and writing a business plan. If you have a multitude of items to sell, a business plan is inevitable. You have indeed started your business with little to nothing, but now we must get down to business, in which capital will be needed to continue the process. In order to receive the funds needed to maintain a surplus; a business plan is unequivocally in order, and we are going to talk about how to write a successful business plan. Business plans are sometimes requested when requesting funds to start a business-depending on the lender. This capital will allow you to build a surplus for at least the first 100 or more customers, build your website, and to market your “brand”.
Right now I am working alone, but in due-time I will have to solicit help. I welcome any questions, concerns, as well as critique and yes….Help. Continue to follow my post as our journey continues. Please use the comment section located at the bottom of each post. Thank you!
